Corporate Philosophy
C. Erickson and Sons, Inc., founded by
Charles G. Erickson, Jr. in 1954, and continued under the family
stewardship of Charles G. Erickson III (President) and Michael G.
Erickson (Executive Vice
President) since 1986, maintains a corporate philosophy founded
on integrity, relationships, and service.
Integrity

At C. Erickson and Sons, Inc., we believe in right and wrong, and
are thus committed to honesty and fairness, striving to say what
we mean and mean what we say. As teammates in the building process,
we desire to be held accountable for our actions. We strive for
reliability, avoiding as many "surprises" as possible
in the design/construction process. By extending our role beyond
basic business courtesies, we establish a core trust on which we
build strong client relationships.
Relationships

We see our clients as teammates, and thus strive to establish strong
communication and build a team with a shared focus. Relationships
require keen listening skills, and at Erickson we listen to our
clients, carefully assimilate their expressed requirements, and
skillfully develop a focused Project Plan. We seek clients interested
in obtaining as much value for the construction dollar as possible;
clients who want to engage in a team approach to resolve the cost,
schedule, quality, and logistical concerns associated with every
construction project.
Service

In order to protect and improve our client's business, Erickson
skillfully and courteously executes the Project Plan. We provide
reliable predictive cost and scheduling projections, as well as
a creative, diligent project approach which obtains the maximum
value for our customer's construction dollar. We provide early advice
on the probable cost of construction and scheduling, listen to concerns
throughout the design process, and offer design advice in our efforts
to control the cost and duration of the final product. C. Erickson
and Sons, Inc. strives to exceed our client's expectations as the
construction firm providing the best overall construction experience
for our customers.
Over the past fifty years, C. Erickson and Sons, Inc.
has earned a strong reputation for moral integrity, strong client
relationships, and customer service; three traits which characterize
our firm as a successful, Philadelphia-based general contracting
company.
