| Phase II of the Gap Corporate Headquarters project
increased the buildings footprint by an additional 29,000 square
feet, for a total of 71,000 square feet, and included renovation of
office and conference spaces, a dine-in kitchen, as well as a spacious
patio and exterior decks.
The new construction blended into the existing structures
clean, sweeping profile, with an architectural emphasis on diminishing
planes and concentric styling, and design details such as stepped
ceilings, and traffic-friendly interiors.
Construction took place while the original building was fully occupied.
