Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Addition
Working within a limited area between two hospital wings, Erickson
managed this challenging expansion of the Radiation / Oncology Department.
The addition was created to accommodate the installation of a state-of-the-art
Leksell Gamma Knife Unit for radiosurgery procedures. The new space
also includes associated patient preparation, recovery, treatment
planning, reception and waiting areas.
New Angiography Suite
Throughout construction of the Angiography Suite renovation, services
were maintained in the existing operating rooms without disruption.
Renovations included new medical equipment, patient exam rooms,
public waiting areas, and private waiting rooms.
Simeone Center for Neurosurgery
This new Center for Neurosurgery included patient exam rooms, physicians’
offices, clerical space, and a high-end reception / waiting area
able to accommodate up to ninety patient visits per day.
Surgical Suites Renovation
Throughout construction of this multi-phased Operating Suite renovation,
services were maintained in the existing operating rooms without
disruption. In all, nine operating rooms were converted into eight
new state-of-the-art OR suites that, including a new specialty MRI
unit and an independent, custom designed Mechanical Suite.
