Erickson was responsible for Construction Management services of the museum's $25,000,000 project. The work was phased in an occupied space, and included systemwide replacement of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure, cooling towers, and piping. This project required installation of 2 stairtowers to meet safety requirements, as well as an entire roof replacement and multiple phased renovations.

Each job phase had an accompanying public exhibit, for which Erickson installed drywall, carpentry, carpets, doors, structural steel, lighting, and other visible elements. Erickson met all MBE/WBE requirements, and public exhibits include Sky Bike, Sports Challenge, KidScience, Train Factory, Atrium and Sci-Store, Space Command / Fels Planetarium, Franklin Airshow, and BioScience.
