The Marketplace Design Center was located at 2400 Market Street for several decades. In 2015, the building was sold and the new owner planned a major redevelopment of the building. As a result, the Design Center Tenants have found a new home on the 3rd and 4th floors at 34 South 11th Street, the former Family Court building, part of the East Market Redevelopment project. The building is being stripped down to the structure, re-skinned and modernized as a multi-tenant building.

Erickson was chosen for Preconstruction and Construction Management for this phased renovation of the historic First Baptist Church
Phase I was completed in Fall 2016 and entailed infrastructure upgrades, including demolition of the church’s central chamber and the installation of elevators, bathrooms and circulation space.
Phase 2 work includes build out of the west stair, kitchen, laundry, shower, bath, toilet and storage rooms as well as renovation to the theater, corridor and fellowship room.
