Looking back at this incredible confidential office renovation! Building a 5,000-square-foot hybrid operating room

Building a 5,000-square-foot hybrid operating room inside an active hospital takes more than precision, it takes careful planning and execution.⠀
⠀
From selective demolition and new patient care spaces to advanced HVAC, HEPA filtration, medical gas, and electrical systems, every detail was completed while surrounding operating rooms remained fully operational.⠀
⠀
The result: a modern surgical space built to support exceptional patient care.⠀

This Careers in Construction Month, we’re celebrating the people behind the build.

We’re proud of our longstanding relationship with The Curtis Institute and the opportunity to have supported its campus and facilities over the years. More recently, our team has had the privilege of working on projects including the 1718 Locust Street Refresh and the Art Alliance HVAC and Fire Rebuild.

Swipe to meet some of the project team members who helped make these projects possible. While this slide represents just a portion of the many people involved, each person plays an important role in bringing our projects to life.

We’re proud to be part of an industry that creates opportunity, builds communities, and leaves a lasting impact. Here’s to the people who make it happen every day.

A stronger facility means stronger support for the community.

Phase 2 of the Share Food Program, Inc. Life Safety Improvements included roof replacement, structural reinforcements, masonry restoration, loading dock renovations, and major mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades.

These improvements strengthen the warehouse's reliability and efficiency, helping Share Food Program continue distributing food to those who need it most. All while operations remained uninterrupted during construction.

We're proud to be part of a project that helps expand the impact of an organization serving the Philadelphia community.

Today's throwback highlights one of our renovation

Today's throwback highlights one of our renovation projects for The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Erickson transformed an existing medical office building into the CHOP Network – Kids First Facility in Newtown, PA, delivering a 6,100 SF pediatric care facility fit-out in just 10 weeks. Designed by Array Architects and engineered by Wick Fisher White, this project created a modern, welcoming space for children and their families.
