What is your favorite thing about working for Erickson?
Erickson is a true General Contractor with the ability to self-perform. During my carpentry apprenticeship and after, I worked for a company not dissimilar to Erickson. I worked in the new high-rises, then newly permitted to build above William Penn’s hat, west only of City Hall. I can take pride in providing new workspace in those buildings that I worked in as an apprentice.
What is your favorite project so far and why?
I enjoyed the Space project at The Franklin Institute most of all. Growing up, I frequently went to the Franklin Institute to see the exhibits and learn more about how science is related to our everyday life. Being able to join the construction/design team that provides learning for the next generations to witness as I have experienced was, is and will continue to be a reason to get up every morning.
What’s your go-to karaoke song, and why do you love singing it?
As I have been blessed an inability to carry a tune, even when provided with a handle, and a face for radio – my go to karaoke song would have to obviously be the song “Tequila” – or perhaps even Led Zeppelin’s “Moby Dick”, it’s an instrumental.
